Hi Freinds, this friday from 7-9pm I will host a rare tea tasting. This weeks teas are:

1) Early 90s aged Dong Ding oolong from Taiwan- smooth, elegant and relaxing- like drinking brandy.

2) 2008 Huang Zhi Phoenix Oolong- a beautiful oolong from China with pronounced floral and orange flavors, elegant.

3) Fresh Roasted Taiwanese Dong Ding Oolong- we will roast some leaves together and you will taste the increadble freshness and aromas released by this process. We will taste some unroasted leaves also for comparison.

4) 2002 Nan Jian Puerh Toucha- this young puerh has amazing frangrances and flavors which dance around the tongue. Stong yang chi energy. this is really fu to drink!

5) Sun Moon Lake Black Tea from Taiwan- this black tea will be served gong-fu style (Chinese tea ceremony style). It is complex, heady and rich and will change your mind about black teas. It is rather like drinking wine and has soothing yin chi energy.
