Dear Freinds, I will be hosting a sacred tea session this wednesday, spet. 17th, from 7- 9pm. The session will feature 5-6 rare teas that will leave you swooning. Come join me for a tea journey. Tasting will be limited to 7 people. If there is enough demand, I will make a second date this week. Price is 35-50 dollars/person, pay what you wish.In Portland we just finished building an outdoor tea temple and I have attached a couple of photos. It came out beautifully and thank you to all my friends who helped build it with love and intent. Each building day was begun by a fire puja offering ceremony where prayers, incense, flowers, rice, chocolates, copper coins,tobacco and ceder branches were offered into the fire. In each of the concrete foundation stones I embedded pearls form my alter. You can really feel sacred Presence in the structure. I thik we will have many special times there.
Next month, i will start hosting monthly tea and sake parties at my home. It will be a chance for all of us to get together and share a special time toegther and connect people through a love of tea. My hope is: to build a real community around the sacredness of tea, sharing and love (and getting tea drunk together).I will send out invites and more info in early october.
