Welocme to Heavens Tea and Sacred Arts Center- Here is a listing of our monthly sacred tea offerings. We have the largest selection of rare rare teas available to the public in the counrty and over 70 aged teas between 10-50 years old. Our many classes and sessions teach both the classical art of tea and the spritiual art of tea. All sessions include flowers, music, tea snacks, candles, incense in a setting of beauty and elegance. Private classes and rare tea tasting sessions available most times and all weekend nights. Gift certificates are available.

Monday 30th. Tea Class- The Art of Brewing Tea
Sunday 7th. Tea Class- Chinese Tea Ceremony: 10am-11:30am. Learn the simple yet profound art of Chinese Tea Ceremony. This class will teach you the basics of this ceremony as well as prepare you to explore and practice the more subtle aspects of this art form on your own. Learning the fundamentals of this method is an essential building block for those who want to want to learn the path of tea. Class limit is 8 people, please call or email to reserve a spot. Cost: $35.
Monday 9th, Rare Tea Tasting- Featuring a 1950s Aged Oolong - 7-9pm An evening featuring a very speucial 1950s aged Taiwanese oolong. We will start with a 1970s Baozhong from Taiwan, then the 1950s oolong and finsih with a beautiful hand crafted Chinese wuyi tea (Da Hong Pao). This should be an exquisite evening- the flavors, aromas and energetics of these teas are truley amazing andyou will find yourself in a deeply open, relaxed and “tea drunk” state by the end of the session. Tuesday 10th. Full Moon Tea Session: 7-8:30pm. We will celebrate the full moon this month by getting “tea drunk” on aged puerh and then write inspired tea poetry. Full moon nights are meant for wild abandonment, artistic expression and laughter. For those of you who have had my old peurhs you know this will be a transcendant poetic evening. Tea snacks will be served. If weather permits, we will be in the outdoor teahouse, but it seems like it may be cold. Limit 8 people. Cost: $35. Reservation Required, please call or email.
Wednesday 11th. Tea and Qi Class: 7-8:30pm. In this session we will exlpore the various kinds of chi (energy) in rare teas. Chi in tea can be ecstatic, meditative, expansive, deeply quieting, wild or embody beauty. We will drink various teas and share experiences of thier internal effects. (PS- this is VERY FUN). Friday 13th. A Tea Journey-Rare Tea Tasting. 7-9pm. In this tea journey we will try 8 different teas encompassing a wide range of vibrations, flavors, aromas and experinecs. Many of these teas are truley transporting and you will find yourself in a very open and transcendant state by the time we are done. We will drink white teas, oolongs, aged oolongs, young and old puerhs as well as a few suprises. Limit 8 poeple. Cost $35-50- depending on your financial circumstances. Saturday 14th. Tea Class- The Art of Asian Teaware-10am-11:30 am. In this class yo will be educated in the various kinds of classic Asian teaware form Japan, Korea, and China. You will learn how to use each type of teapot, how know which tea to use with each kind of teaware and about the aesethics of teaware. Limit 8 people. Cost $25-35, sliding scale. Sunday 15th. Sacred Tea and Meditation Session. 9:30am – 10:45 am. This session will be a 45 minute sacred tea session followed by a 30 minute meditation session. We will drink old aged puerh tea and herbal teas which will put us in a state of deep relaxation and openess and then sit together. This will be a weekly event. Limit 8 people, cost $15-25 sliding scale.
Monday 16th. Herbal Tea Class. 7-8;30pm -There are amazing flowers and plants to drink, calm and heal us. In this class we will explore herbal teas from the west and China. We will learn about brewing, the uses of herbs, and the enrgetics of herbal teas. Come and drink flowers and leaf! We will drink rose, cammomille, immortality tea, tea flower and calendual among others. Limit 7 people, cost $25-35/ person, sliding scale.
Tuesday 17th. Rare Tea Tasting- 7-9pm. This tasting will center around an aged puerh- a 1970s gunag yun green puerh. This old tea has storng chi and amazing flavors which cahnge form steeping to steeping- aged wood, dried fruit, earth, vanillia, spicey notes as well as a sandelwood quality are some of the notes of this tea. We will drink 8-10 steepings of this rare tea as well as some aged oolong form the 1980s and an amazing wuyi tea which will leave you floating on silk. Limit 8 people. Cost $35-50 sliding scale. Wednesday 18th. Tea and Sacred Tibetan Art Class. 7-8:30pm. In this class we will drink several potent teas which will put us into a state of depth and calm and then we will discuss and learn about Iconography in Tibetan art. We will look at books of old paintings and I will teach you to read the sacred sybolism embeded in this art form. Feel free to bring paintings to discuss. Limit 7 people, cost- $25-35 sliding scale. Friday 20th. Vernal Equinox Spring Flower Tea Session. 7-8:30pm. We will celebrate the spring equinox by drinking various flower teas- rose, celendula, phoenix oolong that tastes of gardina and orchid, yin hwa pomello flower green tea and jasmine tea. Come and revell in spring essences and celebrate nature turning lush and green! If the weather permits we will have the session in the outdoor tea house. Limit 6 people, cost $35. Saturday 21st. Tea and Meditation Class. 10am-11:30. In this session we will drink and learn about teas that facilitate meditation. You will learn about the enrgetics of different teas and thier effects on meditative and internal states. We will spend the second part of class in a group meditation. Tuesday 24th. New Moon Sacred Tea Session. To celebrate and mark the new moon we will have a sacred tea session where we will drink some very old aged teas which will bring us to a very deep and open state and we will make our intentions for the next month, followed by a short meditation. Wednesday 25th. Rare Aged Puerh Class. 7-9pm. In this class we will try some special aged puerh form the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s and learn about these powerful and equisite aged teas. These aged teas develop extraordinary flavors and aromas over time as well as putting you into a very ecstatic state. This is a good place to come and learn what real aged peurhs are supposed to taste and feel like. You will be delighted. Limit 7 people, cost $50. Reservation Required, please call or email.
Thursday 26th. 7pm to Midnight. Monthly Party- for past clients. present freinds and loved ones only. You will recieve an email invite.

Saturday 28th. The Sacred Art of Tea. 10-11:30. Come and learn about the sacred path of tea as well as the methods for creating sacred tea sessions. Making tea for someone can be a very powerful event if you learn how to bring presence, intention, attention and a sense of service to it. Also, you will learn what kind of teas facilitate this path. We will drink some very special teas. This will be the first of many classes on the sacred aspects of Cha Dao (the way of tea). Limit 7 people, cost $35-45 sliding scale. Sunday 29th. Private Sacred Tea and Reiki Healing Sessions. 12-6pm. These private two hour sessions include an hour of rare teas which will relax and open you in a very deep way followed by an hour of Reiki healing with Stacey Darbey who has a profound gift for healing. Reiki is a form of hands on energetic healing which will help your body, mind and spirit return to a state of greater natural health. Cost $100 for the two hour session.
Monday 30th. Tea Class- The Art of Brewing Tea. 10am- 11:30 am In t his session we will exlore the art of brewing teas. This is a sublte and neverending study; you will learn how to approach different kinds of tea and how to bring out the best in each one. This is a must for anyone who loves tea.
